Spaced is amazing, they had no right to ruin it like this :nono:

Thankfully they never aired it. But seriously, it shouldn't have been made in the first place.

Is there a list of Originally British Things That Got Remade And Shouldn't Have Been that I can look over? I can't really recall that many but then again I'm not a big TV-watcher :p

I don't like the idea of America just reusing what Britain's already done, but sometimes there have to be a few tweaks for cultural differences. I don't think they should be completely modified, but sometimes tweaks are needed.

Thing is, Spaced was a show based entirely around British culture and cultural and pop references of the 90s, and they tried to re-make it almost word for word ten years later in America. That concept makes no sense whatsoever.

I don't know about the TV shows, but I was particularly pissed off when they remade Death At A Funeral.

The British version was brilliant. But I wish the person who decided to remake it and throw in Martin Lawrence and Chris Rock in it would get shot. Really, it was basically the same thing with bad acting and horrible dialogue.

Sorry, off topic (though not really...), just thought I'd through that in there.
