A few days ago, I started a similar thread. There was no response from any members, but I will give it a last try.
Whoever wants to participate makes a list of his/her 10 favorite television series. However, in order to have more interest and suspense for the results, don't post your lists on the thread. Send them to me as a private message and your vote will be counted (I will be fair :p). There is going to be a time limit; most likely a month, enough for members to think their lists.
After, the end of voting, I will present the results. First, I will mention the series who didn't make it to the top 20, and then, I will present the 20 final series in a countdown from #20 to #1.
I think that this would be a nice idea for some people to discover and watch new series and also learn each other preferences.
P.S. 1: The previous thread is this: teenhut.net/films-tv-books/114…te-television-series.html. If someone knows how to close a thread, please tell me.

FORMAT AND RULES
- Each participant makes a list of his/her 10 favorite television series. Don't post your lists on the thread. Send them to me as a private message. You can only send one list. If you wish to have any changes, send me a revised list, but your previous one will not be counted.
- Your list must have a numerical order in which you rate the television series. The structure must be as below:
1) A-Series
2) B-Series
3) C-Series
...
...
...
10) J-Series
2) B-Series
3) C-Series
...
...
...
10) J-Series
- You are allowed to pick up to 10 television series into your list. Your #1 gets 10 points, your #2 gets 9 and so on. You can also include less than 10 series in your list, i.e. 7. In this case however, your #1 gets 7 instead of 10 points. This is a way to have more accurate results, because some members have watched more/less series than others. An example of the points counting is below:

- You are allowed to vote series that originally aired on the U.S., U.K. or Canada, because these series are more likely to have been watched by people from other countries, as well. Also, you cannot vote ANIMATED SERIES (Simpsons, South Park etc.) and REALITY TV SHOWS (16 and Pregnant, Teen Mom etc.). I forgot to mention it and Linda sent me a list with almost reality shows.
- The ranking criteria for the overall result will be:
- Number of points each series received.
- Number of votes each series received. For example, A-Series was voted by 8 members, while B-Series by 6 members. So A-Series ranks first.
- Number of #1s each series received. For example, B-Series was voted twice as a #1, while A-Series only once. So B-Series ranks first.
- Alphabetical order.
