So before I decided to go down the "splash my money" option on more RAM while looking for a new HDD I was observing my PCs specs. I noticed my RAM is currently running at 400MHz which is kind of not right. My RAM is capable of 1066MHz (PC2-8500) and I was looking through the BIOS settings on what to change and stuff how ever I was slightly confused what to change without making my system unstable. At the moment I haven't changed any settings related to RAM, I do know that I have to change my latency to 7-7-7-20 to achieve 1066MHz (which is said on the .pdf document of my RAM manufacturer).
I was wondering if anyone has any experience to aid me with increasing my latency or any thorough guides that aid with such mystery's. I have checked possibly several guides but none are thorough enough for my motherboard.
EDIT: I did change the frequency in my BIOS from [AUTO] to [DDR2-1066MHz], my BIOS reads this when booting however, when using testing tools such as CPUz and PC Wizard they still report a speed of 400MHz.
