There have been major floods in Brazil and Australia, two earthquakes in Christchurch and Japan and a resulting tsunami, extreme snow storms in Europe, bushfires in Perth and to top it off- cat 5 cyclones! Do you believe this is all due to climate change or just a big fateful coincidence and a string of really bad luck??

Coincidence?
Consider that these disasters are not unusual but.. a huge coincidental stream together. -
I think it's entirely coincidential, or falls along a natural cycle.

I'm not sure about floods and things like that because people do argue that climate change is causing more extreme weather and also more fluctuations in varying weather. You can't blame climate change on what happened in Japan though. That was a result of a build up of energy as the Pacific plate moves under the North America plate that was suddenly released. It's nothing to do with climate change. Scientists believe Tokoyo will be in for an even worse earthquake than that one in years to come though.[CENTER][SIGPIC][/SIGPIC][/CENTER]
