So yeah, my laptop hinge is loose (It's kinda lopsided because I keep laying on my side with it because I'm stupid.) and it squeaks really loud whenever I touch it. So should I take it to Walmart because I still have 5 months on my warranty or is there some easier way to fix it?

well i'm assuming your clamshell case is plastic, so I'd say your hinge has slipped and the plastic on the lid is rubbing against the plastic of the chasis.
What model is your laptop? Look on google for instructions on how to remove the screen/lid from the body and just have a look at what's going on with the hinge.“Happiness can be found, even in the darkest of times, if one only remembers to turn on the light.”

I'd be wary of this. Isn't your warranty void if the case and/or software is tampered with? Or does it depend on the OEM? -
My macbook has a loose hinge. I've done my research and the only way to replace it is to replace the entire LCD screen. I would assume the same thing about you laptop. But I could be wrong. Apple is infamous for making their products un-customizable or fixable because they want their customers running back to them for help with their money in hand.[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]

The best kind of PC to buy
Laptops should only be bought if you travel and need a computer on the go. -
There's a year warranty, I'm taking it to a computer place or something tomorrow and they're going to take do something or something.
