I'll try to make this as quick as possible:
I met a girl going to the same college as me, and we instantly became friends after discovering that we had the same major.
She has been on campus for 2 weeks with 3 more to go for a pre-college prep program. I'd always text her how she was doing, and it seemed to be going fine. However, she broke down tonight.
I already knew her situation: She was raised by her dad her whole life, and practically had to take care of herself. After this program, she'll be meeting her mom, who she never truly knew. I always told her she could talk to me, and tonight she texted me in tears. She is overwhelmed because her program gives her no time to think about things and her life is going way too fast for her to keep up.
*now your turn*
I got her to get some sleep tonight by text, but I want to show her "physical" support by sending her a gift. I was thinking maybe a bouquette of flowers with a card? Or maybe a stuffed tiger (she loves tigers!).
Any other Ideas? thank you for reading, and I hope to hear from you all!
