Okay long story short, after about two months of pure awkwardness, my ex and I have started to get close again and she asked if I wanted to see a movie with her and have lunch at our favourite cafe on the weekend. I said yes of course because I still have feelings for her. Any tips for going to the movies with your ex? I'm very sure this is not a date but she knows how I feel for her and I don't want to be forward in case I ruin our friendship.
So any tips or hints you could give would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Well I'm pretty sure it's not a date, I just don't want to assume it is, act on it and ruin what we're working towards.

Well for the past two months it has been so awkward between us that we couldn't even look each other in the eyes. But now, now we're talking again, we're hugging again, she's even fiddling with my hair like she used when we hug. Everything is almost how it was before we dated, that’s what we've been working towards, getting back on track and that’s what I don't want to risk losing again. Breaking up with her was hard, but losing her as a friend was even harder.
