      Hello Friends,

Soccer Bowling: Teach accuracy in kicking by combining the games of soccer and bowling. Set up 10 plastic bowling pins on a flat surface. Choose a distance depending on players' skill level. For players under the age of 5, start with the target just 5 feet away. For more experienced players, the distance can increase to up to 50 feet for advanced accuracy games. Each player receives two kicks toward the pins per frame, with pins removed between kicks. Keep score using the same method as in traditional bowling; for example, knocking all the pins down on the first kick scores 10 points plus the player's total from the next two kicks; knocking all 10 pins down in two kicks scores 10 points plus the player's total from her next kick. The player with the highest score after 10 frames wins.

Target Practice: Purchase a large sheet of particle board, and cut several circles the shape of soccer balls in different locations on the board. Create between four and eight targets, with a point total below each. Recommended positioning for the targets are the four corners and then four locations selected at random. Assign the highest point totals to the targets in the top right and top left corners. The ones closest to the ground score the fewest points. Prop the board against a goal. Each player receives six kicks, and the player with the most points wins.

Freeze Tag: Choose one player to be "it" at the beginning of the game. Each of the other players has a soccer ball and must dribble it without the player that is "it" touching it. If the person who is "it" touches the ball, the player with the ball must freeze and spread his legs to form a target similar to a goal, and her ball is removed from play. Any other player may unfreeze a player by kicking the ball between his legs. The player that is "it" has 10 minutes to freeze as many players as possible, with the total number of frozen players is added up after 10 minutes. Scores are compared at the end of class to see which player had the most points. For larger classes, several groups can be formed to play the game, giving each player a chance to be "it."

      Thanks and Regards
