I think terms like that should not be used and I try to avoid words like that. However, I am not Jewish and think it's up to the Jewish community. If they think it is offensive or hurtful, it should be banned.

I know a Tottenham fan and he says that even Jewish Tottenham fans use that word. But I don't think I would it would make me very uncomfortable.

it kinda depends on the context. Theres a lot of words that to one person means something completely innocent, and to another it's highly offensive

As Yiddish is the Jewish language, and a large Jewish community influence in the club. If it's used in a bad way it would be bad. But equally if you ban it are you then wiping out that area of history, removing the Jewish people identity in the club

No. It will koll fredom of speach. Any word cant be banned beauce it kills our freedom. It it the same for all wods around the world including yid , neger, nigga, mum, car, sun, ass, blue, love, ...

It should be banned from usage. The "Y" is derogative term for people of the Jewish faith. It carries the same connotation as the use of the "N" word. Those words should never be use to describe a race of people.

Personally, I am not in favour of putting restrictions on free speech into law and I think people need to get used to the idea that other people will sometimes say things that offend them.

On the other hand I think racism is very nasty and I would love to see people voluntarily choosing not to offend others. I also think that the likes of Football clubs and the FA can reasonably require those who attend games to refrain from things that are generally considered to be racially offensive. Those who don't want to comply with that can be banned from attending matches.

There are literally so many words that are based off hard stereotypes of each race that given enough time and context we'll have to go about 'banning' hundreds of them. The solution is to either be more empathetic or just stop taking everything people say in heated settings very seriously. But 'banning' words per se isn't gonna do much other than giving us a few more reasons to 'cancel' people that mistakenly use them.
