    • FORMULA 1 ROLEX BELGIAN GRAND PRIX 2022

One of the most iconic tracks in all of motorsport, Spa-Francorchamps hosts the 14th round of the 2022 F1 season on August 26-28. The track has undergone an expensive 80-million overhaul since F1 last 'raced' at the venue in 2021, including a partial resurfacing, and a number of expanded run of areas and gravel traps to improve safety for competitors.

Pirelli tyre allocation for the Belgian Grand Prix

Pirelli is bringing the C2 hard, C3 medium and C4 soft tyre from its range to Belgium, the same allocation as used in France and Hungary prior to the summer break.

    • Jade's Qualifying Preview

Max Verstappen and Charles Leclerc have been setting the pace so far in practice. But both go into qualifying knowing they will start the race at Spa from towards the back of the grid owing to penalties for power unit component changes.

They'll be joined at the back by Lando Norris, Esteban Ocon, Valtteri Bottas, Mick Schumacher and Zhou Guanyu who have also changed parts of their power units

While both championship contenders could fight for pole position before the penalty are taken. It looks likely their teammates will be the ones to start from that position

Sergio Perez looks to have the speed over Carlos Sainz so far. But the Mercedes of Lewis Hamilton and George Russell hope to spoil the plans, but have a gap to make up if they want to challenge.

While it appears from forecasts it will be dry, the unpredictability weather that can always effect the Ardennes forest region, a change in weather conditions could give anyone a chance

    • Jade's Qualifying Review

Don't read if you don't want to know what happened ^^ :whistling:

      Display Spoiler
Qualifying was delayed by 25 minutes due to barrier repairs required from a crash in the preceding Porsche Super Cup race.

In Q1 Vettel misses out by 0.002 to Schumacher. Behind him are Latifi, Magnussen, Tsunoda and Bottas, who misses out on getting to Q2 for the first time since 2015 Monaco GP, 148 races ago.

In Q2 Albon gets through to Q3 knocking out Ricciardo, adding to his already bad month/year. Ahead of the team mates of the drivers eliminated in Q1, Gasly, Zhou, Stroll and Schumacher

In Q3, on the 1st run Sainz getting a slipstream on the Kemmel Straight from Leclerc is still 0.6 slow than Verstappen but 0.1 faster than Perez. And Leclerc having to do his lap as the team mistakenly putting on scrubbed tires, running out of sinc with the others after giving the slipstream, has to drive through the returning traffic, 0.8 off pole

Sainz with another slipstream from Leclerc, has a scruffy build up and flying lap, putting his tire in gravel at Les Fanges , does not improve, Perez also doesn't improve on his lap. The rest of the drivers followed, Ocon, Alonso, Hamilton, Russell, Albon and Norris.

With all the penalties applied the grid will be:

      1. Carlos Sainz (Ferrari)
      2. Sergio Perez (Red Bull)

    • FORMULA 1 HEINEKEN DUTCH GRAND PRIX 2022

A regular fixture on the F1 calendar from 1960s to 1980s, Zandvoort returned to the F1 calendar last year following an expensive redevelopment plan to bring it up to date with modern standards.

This year, the FIA will trial running DRS at the final banked corner in first practice before deciding whether to continue with it for the remainder of the weekend.

Pirelli is bringing the C1 hard, C2 medium and C3 soft tyre from its range to the Netherlands to cope with the high demands posed by the Zandvoort track.

    • FORMULA 1 PIRELLI GRAN PREMIO D’ITALIA 2022

As the fastest venue on the F1 calendar with several long straights, Monza will favour cars with a higher top-speed and low drag. All teams will bring special low-downforce configuration rear wings to the Italian venue, although corner stability is also important thanks to the presence of several chicanes.

Given the emphasis on top speed, Red Bull is the favourite for a fifth straight victory of 2022 going to Monza, especially having proven so strong at Spa a fortnight ago. However, Ferrari will be trying very hard to put on a strong show in front of its home fans and make amends for some of its errors in recent races.

    • FORMULA 1 SINGAPORE AIRLINES SINGAPORE GRAND PRIX 2022

The Marina Bay Circuit arrived on the scene in 2008. A street track with the city's famous skyline as its spectacular backdrop, the initial circuit plan by Herman Tilke was refined by KBR Inc, while the event has quickly established itself as one of the standouts on the F1 calendar.

The 5.063km Marina Bay Circuit is one of the most physically demanding on the calendar, its bumpy street surface coupled with humid conditions giving the drivers plenty to think about. With 23 corners, they are working the wheel a lot, too, around the high-speed lap – the physical stress causing them to lose as much as 3kg over the course of a race. The circuit also boasts some of the most unique features of any track on the F1 calendar, including Turn 18, which actually sees the drivers pass underneath a grandstand.

Red Bull's Max Verstappen heads to Singapore with the chance of wrapping up the 2022 drivers' title, having extended a 115-point lead in the championship over Ferrari rival Charles Leclerc.

Unsurprisingly, Pirelli is bringing the three softest tyres from its range to Singapore - C3, C4 and C5.

    • FORMULA 1 HONDA JAPANESE GRAND PRIX 2022

In 1962. Soichiro Honda, whose car company you may have heard of, was a man with big ambitions. Seeking to turn Honda into an automotive powerhouse, he decided his company should have its own test track. Dutchman John Hugenholtz got the nod, and drew up the now-iconic ‘crossover’ Suzuka track – although original drawings saw the track pass over and under itself a full three times, which would have been sweet!

The high-speed track remains one of the ultimate driving challenges, with the snaking ‘S’ Curves, the two commitment-rewarding Degners and the white-knuckle ride of 130R all highlights in a series of highlights at what is one of F1’s seminal tracks. And hey, it’s got a crossover, which is always cool, right?

Pirelli tyre allocation for the Japanese Grand Prix

Because of several demanding corners, not least the 130R, Pirelli is bringing the three hardest tyres from its range to Suzuka - C1, C2 and C3.

      Championship Possibilities

The race offers Max Verstappen a chance to seal his second title, having stretched a 104-point lead over Ferrari rival Charles Leclerc with five races still remaining in the season. The Red Bull driver will be declared champion irrespective of Leclerc's result if he wins the race and bags the bonus point for fastest lap.

Red Bull also enjoys a sizeable 137-point advantage in the constructors' standings over Ferrari, while Mercedes is not too far off the Scuderia in third.
