'Scene Hair', Extentions?

I got my haircut yesterday. It's supposed to be 'Scene' style. I got short choppy layers, One on top which goes to about my eyebrows and a second layer down to my chin. Which left the back of my hair looking really thin and stupid. I've been wearing it tied up since I got it done. I want to be able to tease the top layers and wear it down but I cant because the back/bottom part of my hair is way to thin. When most girls get their hair cut like this do they wear extentions underneath to thicken it out? If not, How do they do it? I'm going to buy some clip in ones on Saturday but I dont wanna waste money if I dont need them =]

Sounds like they might have razored the back of your hair too much. X__X

If I were you, I'd probably go with some colorful extensions to do a nice contrast, or get the back cut short, and have the sides long and straight.

It looks really good, My friend has the same and she wears proper extensions to make it thicker.

Scene hair is mostly about having extensions anyway, I think they'll look really good and go with the style that you want. I wear my hair in quite a 'scene' style, my layers aren't as short now so I have to tease them loads to do anything!
