I like Google. It's fast and simple.

Ditto, why would they need to be shutdown?
I mean. Google is the leader in the race, and i love the still-but-slowly-going-away simplicity of Google :). Yahoo is full of thousand's of links and advertisements in its front page.
And i really doubt Yahoo would shut down though. It's got a good stance in the market and im sure its racking in loads of $$$.praise my seriously awesome signature. :chairdance:

Disturbing Facts About Google
1. Google's immortal cookie:
copy that into your url bar while browsing a website and it will show what cookies the website has saved. As for googles being immortal, maybe you should try
Tools -> Clear Private Data and ticking the cookies box...
2. Google records everything they can
6. Google's toolbar is spyware
With the advanced features enabled, Google's free toolbar for Explorer phones home with every page you surf,
Google's toolbar updates to new versions quietly, and without asking. This means that if you have the toolbar installed, Google essentially has complete access to your hard disk every time you connect to Google (which is many times a day).
it reads your cookie too.
7. Google's cache copy is illegal:
The rest of the points are pretty rubbish too, I just don't have the effort to repute them...Random?
