I doubt it, I love the sight of my own blood but wouldn't purposely make myself bleed.
When I get a nose bleed I don't even get tissues, I let it all drip down onto my face and clothes
i dont see there being anything wrong with you
but i do think that it could become an issue
if you start having urges to do certain things to see blood
then thats a problem
When I cut and see my blood, its a pretty great feeling of satisfaction. I don't even know, but I suppose coupled with the feeling of 'release' that the dopamine generates, the appearance of blood goes together with it to create an effect.
Funny - before I cut I hated the sight of blood. I think it's made me much more morbid since.
that is not a healthy thing for you to be doing to yourself. the fact that you have to see yourself bleed to be satisfied is very tragic. i think you need to think about why you need to see yourself bleed, what makes you want to do it. if your doing it to make somebody angry, or just because your bored, your just hurting yourself.
when you feel the urge to see yourself bleed, do something else instead, go for a walk, punch a punching bag, anything because that is not healthy for you. and to answer your question it can be early stages of a disorder. i suggest you rethink things in your life.
it depends on wat kind of person u r...if u like violence than no its fine because u r probably associating blood with violence but if ur a vegan animal lover that doesnt even watch PG13 movies and u go 2 extreme measures 2 see blood than there is something wrong( i think thats the first time ive used ne of the information that my uncle who is a psychologist tells me every year he visits)
It's not really a disorder but it is a problem that u r cutting urself to see ur own blood.
Speaking as an excutter(who still messes up sometimes), I know the feeling. And I think I felt the same way when I had seen what I had done, the blood that came with it. But u have to realize eventually that it's not really about the blood but the fact that u caused it to be seen. It's a control issue that most SIers have. It's more about performing the act than the actual result, if that makes any sense. Please, try not to cut, there is so much more to life than that, as I am just now learning. If u ever need/want to talk, feel free to message or hit me up on aim or msn...
