I think the LibDems do the most for the environment out of the Big3.
Liberal Democrats - Environment and Rural Affairs -

The Big 3? Bit of a stretch grouping the Lib Dems with the other two isn't it? -
Well not really... They like always get the third highest amount of votes.

I know, but they aren't exactly on a level footing with the other two in terms of support. -
Only a few mil votes off! Last time anyway, people may have realised that some stuff needs to get done with the environment etc. Never know.
I'm probably going to vote for them. -

Yeah, it's a political party in Britain which wants to send all non-white, non-Brits out of Britain, basically.

They got 0 seats in the 2005 general election. Get yer facts right son! you appear to have confused councillors with MP's. A councillor doesn't repesent a seat and they have far less power than MP's. Totaly different.

Funny you should say that. The lib dems recently took over Labour in a large poll. They have more spread out votes across the UK though so even if it stayed like this though to the general election Labour would still get much more power. Simply due to geography.

Only idiots vote BNP. It's a statistical fact. No joke. The lower your intelligence the more likely you are to vote BNP. Not only is your mind sub par but you are also likely to live in a area with a high concentration of muslims. This angers you and you are very angry.

That doesn't surprise me. But the fact that it takes a huge series of comic blunders from the government to even bring the Lib Dems into the reckoning says it all, for me. -
My mum would love for the lib dems to have a chance because they are kind of in the middle of either side of conservative and labour but i don't know where i stand with them...like every other party there is.[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]

I like the lib dems. They are the most progressive yet they hold more right wing views on personal freedoms which I think is right for the UK. I am also pro-europe and they also care more than most about the environment. The lib dems also want to scrap ancient "traditions" that hold the govt back like the house of lords. I don't think it's right that people can be born into power.
Anyone know which of Labour, Conservative and lib dems are the most secular? I would say the tories are the least but I cant decide between labour and lib dems. I guess they all are but their are practically no conservative MP's who aren't christian. The post was edited 1 time, last by Techno Viking ().

Well, being non-white, i obviously do not favour the BNP. The thing with the BNP is that while they are not uber-nazi-in-your-face, they are still racist. Yes, they do not claim to be racist, but everyone knows they are. Nick Griffin himself starts every interview with "I am not a racist but..insert bullshit about immigrants destroying the economy even though without them our country would be fucked.."
I think it was a wise decision for him not to go to the Queen's garden party, because that would have just caused an uproar and given the party more press.
I do fear that they will get big over the coming years. They will gain a few seats in the european election, and gain further seats in the general election. However, they will never become a big enough threat ever.
Another thing that worries me, are their supporters. Most of their supporters do not even know what the party are about. The supporters are mostly white middle class pub folk. They do not know what the party will do and what most of their policies are on other matters. Their supporters simply view them as the ONLY party that can bring Britain to its "God like standards prior to the 1950's".
That sums up just about everything I have to say about BNP!

Lib Dem support in polls has been very scattered recently. True they overtook Labour in the ICM poll with 25 points, but in a YouGov poll a couple of days before they were at a poor 15.

I like them too, their balance between the the rights of the individual and our contribution to society is pretty nice. I'd would say that the Liberal Democrats are certainly the most secular, as they intend to disestablish the Church of England and have an openly atheist leader.
