What is your definition of skinny enough and is my mom saying that I was overweight before and now I am skinny or am I reading too much into this: STORY TO REFRESH YOUR MEMORY: I am thin and A FEW DAYS AGO when I came home from work I changed into a tee-shirt but wore the same pants I wore to work. She asked me as I sat down to eat if I lost weight, and I said no, but this upset me. I said to her that she always tells me I look beautiful. She said you do look beautiful but your pants look bigger. And she told me that I am skinny enough

I think too many people strive to be skinny.
I think thin is a small enough size, skinny to me is just unhealthy.
People started asking me if I had lost weight a few months ago, which was odd because I'd actually put weight on.
I think your mum is trying to warn you away from getting too thin, since it's kind of what most young females tend to want nowadays. -
I think your mom trying to tell you that she doesn't want you to get anymore skinnier especially now a days. I don't find too skinny attractive... I like a little meat.

I agree with both of the above posters, but also that the average weight for different people depends upon the person's height and build.

The term "skinny" should be understandable for your BMI.
