Tonight I saw this in Web User magazine and thought it was worth sharing.
It's worth backing up your browser bookmarks on a regular basis in case of problems. In Firefox, go to Bookmarks, Organize Bookmarks, then click 'Import and Backup' and select 'Backup'.
In Internet Explorer, go to File, Import and Export. Select 'Export to a File' and click Next, then choose what you want to back up (Favorites, feeds and/or cookies).
In Chrome, click the wrench icon, select Bookmark Manager, click the Tools arrow and select Export Bookmarks.
If you delete a bookmark by mistake in Firefox, click Bookmarks, Organise Bookmarks, then go to Organise, Undo or press Ctrl+Z. The bookmark will be instantly restored.
When you delete bookmarks in IE7, or 8, they get moved to the Recycle Bin. To recover one, just find it in the bin, right-click it and select Restore. It will then be added to the bottom of your favourites list.
