It has happened to me before, and in fact one of the times was the other day when my boyfriend was over. We were having sex and after a while I knew I was reaching orgasm and just as I was getting there I let my boyfriend know and to my surprise, he came at the same time.

If you time it right and talk to each other when you're close to orgasm, it can happen.
And no, of course we weren't programmed to orgasm at the same time obviously and this was a one off, it rarely happens, which is why we were pleased when it did.
